Researcher by training, builder by habit.
I'm a PhD student in Computer Science at Université de Montréal (DIRO), working on AI-assisted software engineering. I study the reliability, cost and trade-offs of AI coding agents, comparing open-source and proprietary toolchains.
Before Montréal I trained as an AI & Data Science engineer at ENSIA, alongside a double degree in management at EHEC. Along the way I co-founded a startup, built a recommender adopted nationwide by the Ministry of Higher Education, and shipped production ML and full-stack systems.
Today I split my time between research and freelance work: building AI features and SaaS products for clients, with the same rigor I bring to evaluation in the lab.
